This Privacy Policy applies to the Deeper With Jesus mobile application ("the App"), developed and operated by GeniusTech Hub Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"). Deeper With Jesus is a daily devotional app that helps users grow in faith through Bible-based reflections, community engagement, and personal reading streaks.

This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal data. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account using Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple, we receive your name and email address from those providers. We do not collect or store your Google or Apple passwords.

If you use the App as a guest, no account is created and no personal information is collected or linked to your session.

Usage Data

We automatically collect information about how you interact with the App, including:

• Devotions you have read and the dates they were read (to power your reading streak)
• Topics and calendar dates you browse
• App features you interact with (e.g., topic filter, calendar view)

User-Generated Content

When you participate in the community features, we store:

• Comments you post on devotions
• Likes you give to devotions or comments

This content is associated with your account and may be visible to other users of the App.

Device & Notification Data

If you enable push notifications, we collect and store a device push token (provided by your device's operating system) so we can deliver daily devotional alerts and other app notifications to your device. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

Preferences

Your display preference (light or dark mode) is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Track and display your reading streak
• Enable community features (likes and comments)
• Send push notifications for new daily devotionals (only if you opt in)
• Improve app performance and user experience through usage analytics
• Respond to support requests or inquiries

We do not use your personal information for advertising or sell it to third parties.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your data only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: We use third-party services (such as Firebase by Google) to power authentication, database storage, and push notifications. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually bound to protect it.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
• Business Transfer: If GeniusTech Hub Ltd is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your personal data may be transferred. We will notify you before your data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App's services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information and user-generated content within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Anonymized usage analytics may be retained indefinitely as they cannot be linked back to any individual.

Deeper With Jesus is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. 7. Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data:

• Google Sign-In & Firebase — Used for authentication, database, and push notifications. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• Sign in with Apple — Used for authentication. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data but cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this section and notify you via an in-app notification or other reasonable means. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
